This project explores the hidden environmental impact of air travel in a thoughtful, non-confrontational way. Sparked by a university trip to San Francisco that resulted in over 5,000 kg of carbon emissions, the work invites reflection on the personal footprint we leave behind when flying.
The final outcomes include:
A passport-inspired publication, printed using carbon ink on recycled cup-based paper, offering insights into carbon footprints.
A sleep mask reading "Comfy?" and an airplane blanket that says "Comfy?" – subtle prompts asking whether we’re truly comfortable with the environmental impact of our journeys.
This project doesn’t point fingers. Instead, it encourages awareness and conversation through everyday travel objects reimagined to ask...
“Are you really comfy with this?”
