We once looked to the stars to find our place. Now, our presence lingers there, in satellites long silent, rovers left behind, and records launched into the unknown. ‘Lost in Space’ is an exploration of what we’ve left beyond Earth: from graveyard orbits and golden records to star maps and future missions. Blending research, photography, and design, this book follows the human impulse to connect, to explore, and to be remembered, even across the vast silence of space.
Space Station is a custom typeface built from the fundamental shapes and structures of the International Space Station. Every letterform is constructed using lines and angles directly inspired by the ISS’s architecture. Designed specifically for a publication called ‘Lost in Space,’ Space Station captures a sense of isolation, precision, and scientific exploration. Its rigid, linear forms echo the technical and mechanical environment of outer space, while maintaining a human-made, engineered feel.
